What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Integration Application Engineer position at Careers?
FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-time Key Responsibilities:
Product Selection:
- Select compatible mechanical and electro-mechanical mast and tilt systems, trailers, and controls from Will-Burt’s global product lines.
- Understand capabilities of products from the U.S., Germany, and the U.K.
Customer Specification Review:
- Review program technical specifications.
- Construct compliance matrices detailing product capabilities.
Key Customer Relations:
- Assist sales team with technical customer interactions.
- Travel for trade shows (e.g., AUSA, Modern-Day Marine) and key customer demonstrations and commissioning.
Customer Drawings/Models:
- Create 3D CAD models and interconnect drawings using SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor.
Perform System Analysis:
- Evaluate mast and trailer systems for wind load survivability and trailer tipping loads.
- Calculate trailer tongue weight and select power management systems (battery storage, generator, power conversion, solar, charge management).
System Capabilities:
- Provide technical capabilities for marketing materials.
- Assist with cost estimating for quotations.
Product Concept Design:
- Design new concept solutions for integration challenges.
- Model and review feasibility for customer offerings.
CRM Support:
- Enter new parts into ERP system (Infor Cloud Suite Industrial) for quoting activities.
Configure Standards:
- Set standard integration platforms for initial customer discussions and marketing.

Qualifications:
- BSME or BSEE degree with 5 years in product design or applications/sales engineering.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is a plus. Integrations are modeled in SolidWorks but require importing of Inventor models as mast products are modeled in Inventor.
