Summary: Retirement plan coordinators are employees who independently service and grow existing client relationships with limited responsibilities for business development. Typically, Coordinators are assigned to the client after the sales process is complete or have had the relationship transferred to them by an existing Advisor/ Coordinator.
Core Responsibilities:
- Scheduling Annual investment reviews with clients
- Relationship Management
- Fielding retirement compliance and plan design questions with plan vendor assistance
Required Experience/ Characteristics:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the retirement plan industry, 10 is preferred
- Must be knowledgeable regarding retirement plan design and compliance requirements
- Must be knowledgeable regarding basics of investing and asset allocation, and a general understanding of the securities market
- Top notch presentation skills
- Must be customer service oriented, and work well in a team environment
- Ability to work with computer databases and Microsoft Office Suite

The base salary range for this position is $72,000– $85,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
