What We Are Looking For
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment (including software programming).

Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations
- Manages maintenance personnel by setting direction and priorities
- Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance
- Maintaining all machinery to ensure it's at working standards
- Creating, implementing and maintaining maintenance department procedures
- Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems
- Planning and managing all repair and installation activities
- Ensuring all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures
- Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates
- Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs
- Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary
- Managing, maintaining, and establishing maintenance procedures for production lines in a food manufacturing environment to ensure production meets or performs better than forecast
- Developing and maintaining quality standards
- Developing and maintaining team safety standards
- Participate in designing and developing future production capacities by attending design meetings; coordinating with Research & Development regarding product changes and improvements; and updating maintenance operating procedures and schedules to incorporate the changes
- Develop team and supervisor skills by conducting training meetings; one on one development sessions; outside technical skills training; and establishing and monitoring performance reviews
- Other duties as assigned
Must Have REQUIREMENTS
- Experience and desire to support a culture built on collaboration, sharing of ideas and celebration of successes as well as drive for positive outcomes with cross-functional teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, facility management, or a similar field is plus
- A minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance.
- Previous managerial experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge facilities machines and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication, coaching and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Proficient computer skills in spreadsheets; databases and word processing
- Self motivated, results orientated and excellent personal skills
- Strong knowledge in Maintenance and Reliability
- Strong background in HAACP; safety; GMP
- Must have a hands-on work ethic
- Bilingual preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Consistently walking and standing in production and warehouse environments
- Regular periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work near food ingredients, exposure to food allergens
- Location: inside an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse environment
- You must be able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- You must be able to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
