Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure seamless logistics coordination. This role is pivotal in managing our inbound shipments from local and national suppliers, as well as international suppliers.
Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the procurement department to coordinate inbound shipments and manage inventory levels.
• Develop and implement warehouse management systems to optimize storage efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation, and customer services to enhance operational efficiency.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to maintain a robust supply chain.
• Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Maintain health and safety standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage staff training and development to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
• Implement cost-saving measures and improve logistics processes.
• Prepare and present reports to upper management on warehouse and logistics performance
Warehouse Manager Essential Job Functions:
• Leadership-Warehouse manager should be able to lead and motivate their team, which includes providing clear instructions, delegating tasks, and providing feedback.
• Inventory management- Warehouse manager should be able to balance inventory levels to meet customer demand without incurring excess costs or stockouts.

• Communicate- should be able to communicate with employees from various departments, including warehouse personnel, truck drivers, and inventory managers.
• Technical knowledge of warehouse operations
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory-Warehouse manager should be able to manage and maintain accurate inventory in warehouses.
• Create and maintain schedules
• Negotiate shipping rates- warehouse manager should be able to negotiate shipping rates and arrangements with product carriers.
• Collaborate with other departments
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Bending, stooping, carrying up to 20 pounds may be required.
Warehouse Manager Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Logistics Manager, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of warehouse software applications, MS Office, and database systems.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
