This school nurse opportunity is perfect for LPNs to deliver the highest quality of care, with the support of a motivated team of caregivers who have been at the district for years. Located in Davison, MI, you'll be equipped to provide an excellent level of care to students with a strong team of other nurses with the ease of a M-F schedule following the school calendar.
PAY:
Hourly Comp: $26-27
Weekly Comp: $910- $945
35 hours /Week

- Assesses, plans and implements the nursing process.
- Provides classroom instruction appropriate and maintains accurate medical records.
- Promotes wellness and disease prevention by early detection and correction of health problems that may interfere with learning, growth, and development.
- Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
- Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
- Foster a caring environment that respects patient's dignity
- Maintain a high quality of nursing care for students with psychiatric and mental health illnesses
- Deliver and evaluate all care provided
- Take the lead role in case of a medical or psychiatric emergency and therapeutically intervene and de-escalate students as needed
- Contribute to a friendly and fun environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE:
- Graduate of a nationally approved Nursing program is required.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC)
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing
- Prior school experience preferred
- 1 years experience as an LPN required
