Qualified candidates should have six months of experience as a State Tested Nursing Aid (STNA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Hourly Pay: $27.00/hour

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of care and current clinical practice, treatments, and interventions, specific to    position specialty
2. Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
3. Promote patient's independence by establishing patient care goals
4. Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
5. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations
6. Ability to deal tactfully with residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies and personnel, according to position setting
7. Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
8. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping the information confidential

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

1. 6 months of experience as State Tested Nursing Aid (STNA) in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility.
2. Current State Tested Nursing Aid (STNA) license or license eligible in the state of employment
3. State Tested Nursing Aid degree from an accredited institution
