Dear Candidate :
Our Client is pleased to offer the position of Senior AutoCAD Technician. This is an experienced in-office position where the qualified candidate must be able to accomplish tasks assigned with little or no supervision to include, but not limited to :
1. Develop tools to augment / automate tasks performed by engineers and improve efficiency and workflows.
2. Work with the CAD team and other employees of various technical backgrounds on building projects.
3. Provide QA / QC for own work with oversight and final review from supervisor or project manager.
4. Review project requirements and design information to determine scope and direction of design.
5. Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineers to establish requirements and deadlines necessary to finish specific projects.
6. Determine appropriate methods to create drawings using either a CAD template customized to the client’s requirements, a standard template designed for the specific type of work, or by updating an existing CAD file.
7. Complete the drafting process using the information from multiple sources; make necessary corrections to existing drawings following quality review process.
8. Review drawings from other CAD team members to ensure alignment with client and APX drafting standards.
9. Provide technical and procedural support to CAD team members.
10. Perform related tasks as required or assigned.
Qualifications
A. Technical Certificate or Associate Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting.
B. 5 Years of Drafting Experience in Wireless Telecommunications or a Related Industry.
C. Experience in the Wireless Telecommunications Industry Preferred.
D. Working knowledge of structural and basic electrical systems.
E. Proficient in AutoCAD drafting platform and drafting techniques.
F. Ability to analyze multiple sources of information to ascertain relevance, visualize in three-dimensions, and conclude appropriate design direction.
G. Thorough oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly express questions and explanations and to make suggestions.
H. Proficient use of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Teams.
