CareerWise is a nationally-recognized nonprofit organization that creates life-changing opportunities for the youngest generation of America’s workforce. We build industry-led, student-centered, modern youth apprenticeships through classroom and on-the-job learning providing flexible, alternative pathways to economic mobility. We have hundreds of CareerWise apprentices in the workplace, charting new paths to academic and career success. In addition, workforce and education leaders from across the country have visited CareerWise to learn about our youth apprenticeship model. As a result, our programs have launched in multiple states, leveraging our institutional knowledge, technology, and infrastructure.

Job Summary :

Reporting to the Director of National Partnerships, the National Partnerships Associate is the cornerstone for the National Partnerships Team. The Associate role requires strong organization, research and project management skills. Collaborating with the team, manage project plans, and provide logistical support to facilitate collective learning opportunities for our partners. Capturing insights from partner interactions, you'll contribute to refining our technical assistance practices and resources, enhancing the impact of our team and advancing the youth apprenticeship movement.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Network Expansion :

Support with managing prospective partner outreach and engagement through Salesforce

  • Conduct initial research and landscape analyses on prospective partner regions
  • Schedule prospective partner pitches and follow-up discussions
  • Organize scopes of work within Salesforce as new Opportunities, supporting the execution of agreements through DocuSign
  • Support for Existing CareerWise Partners :
  • Provide administrative support to project teams related to meeting execution, including scheduling, organizing agendas, sharing meeting follow-up, and coordinating next steps

  • Maintain updated CRM (Salesforce) of existing CareerWise partner accounts and contacts
  • Develop a working knowledge of how partners leverage Salesforce and track queued help tickets to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner or to escalate where needed
  • Create supporting documents for projects as needed
  • Collective Learning Network :
  • Facilitate the logistics of peer group gatherings and community of practice events

  • Maintain event calendar for Collective Learning Network
  • Synthesize regular Network newsletter content to ensure consistency and transparency
  • Collect structured feedback through surveys or post-event evaluations from partners about their experience with CareerWise resources and events
  • Enabling Structures :
  • Utilize tools such as Monday.com to project plan and track progress against plans, ensuring seamless project management.

  • Leverage Salesforce CRM to manage existing partner relationships, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Coordinate travel and day-of logistics for in-person conferences and partner working sessions
  • Support documentation of standard operating procedures
  • Support team Timesheets review and management
  • May perform other duties as assigned

  • Additional proficiencies :

  • Experience using a similar CRM and databases (preferably Salesforce)
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to understand and interpret the multiple complexities of the evolving youth apprenticeship movement

    Location :

    It is preferred, but not required, that applicants for this role reside in / around Denver, Colorado. There may be occasions (possibly 1-3 times per year) for staff to gather together in person. Exceptions will be made for special circumstances.

    Compensation :

    The salary range for this role is : $55,697 (min) - $65,276 (max) annually; this role is not covered by the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the FLSA. CareerWise offers a generous benefits package including group medical, dental, and vision plans, short-term disability, 100% vested 401k Plan with a 3% employer contribution, and Flexible Time Off.
