Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive VP of CareerWise USA , the Director of Operations will be responsible for advancing CareerWise’s mission, growth, and impact while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, optimizing processes, managing resources, ensuring quality control, and supporting the CareerWise team to achieve organizational goals in accordance with standards set by the Chief Operating Officer and the Executive Leadership Team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of operational excellence across CareerWise USA by establishing, implementing, and continuously refining efficient workflows and processes. Lead the ongoing monitoring and improvement of operational performance to ensure high-quality outcomes and maximize impact.
Cross-Team and Cross-Department Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional projects and initiatives, collaborating effectively with team leaders within CWUSA and across other CareerWise teams. Ensure seamless coordination and communication to achieve project goals and contribute to the overall strategic objectives of the organization.
Business Model and Revenue Management: Oversee critical aspects of the business model and revenue generation, including contract management, development and implementation of pricing structures, and optimization of capacity utilization. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the leadership team to enhance financial sustainability and growth.
Project Management and Execution: Manage cross-functional projects with CareerWise New York and CareerWise Colorado and ensure connectivity to CareerWise USA. Ensure that each project is completed on time, stays within budget, and achieves its intended outcomes. Monitor progress and provide timely updates to leadership.
Strategic Plan Management: Monitor progress toward strategic goals, communicate concerns and facilitate cross-department adjustments where necessary. Manage and monitor cross-department projects ensuring they align with CareerWise’s strategic priorities with a focus.
Human Resources Support: Partner with CareerWise Human Resources to implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures across the USA teams. Support key HR functions such as recruitment, training, and employee development. Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and employee satisfaction.
Budget and Financial Management: Collaborate with the Finance Team to monitor and ensure strict budget compliance. Ensure contracts are managed efficiently and effectively.
Metrics Tracking & Reporting: Regularly track and report on key operational metrics that align with the strategic plan. Use data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership to enhance organizational performance.
Team Collaboration and Leadership: Serve as a trusted resource for the EVP of CareerWise USA and the broader CareerWise Team. Use a collaborative and supportive approach to help team members overcome challenges, stay accountable, and drive effective communication.
Promote Knowledge Sharing: Foster an environment of shared knowledge and continuous learning. Ensure that the team is equipped with the tools, information, and support they need to succeed in their roles and contribute to the overall mission of CareerWise.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $84,872-$127,308annually; this role is not covered by the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the FLSA. CareerWise offers a generous benefits package including group medical, dental, and vision plans, short-term disability, 100% vested 401k Plan with a 3% employer contribution, and Flexible Time Off.
