What You’ll Be Doing :
As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you’ll oversee and enhance the accounts payable function to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. You’ll be at the helm of a talented team, guiding them through complex transactions, resolving discrepancies, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team – Supervise, train, and mentor accounts payable staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Optimize Accounts Payable Processes – Develop, implement, and maintain an up-to-dateAccounting Procedures Manual, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.Ensure Accurate & Timely Vendor Payments – Oversee invoice processing, vendor setup, payment approvals, and ensure compliance with company policies and IRS requirements.Maintain Financial Integrity – Reconcile accounts payable transactions with the general ledger, investigate discrepancies, and correct mispostings.Vendor Relations & Compliance – Monitor vendor accounts, resolve payment issues, process 1099s, and ensure proper tax compliance.Reporting & Analysis – Perform weekly account reviews, prepare outstanding checklists, and generate financial reports to aid in decision-making.Process Improvement & Automation – Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, implement system enhancements, and streamline operations.Support Audits & Compliance – Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and corporate policies.What We’re Looking For :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in a computerized environment, with a focus on accounts payableStrong proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and financial reporting tools. Experience with ERP systems is a plus!Proven track record of supervising teams, training staff, and driving operational excellence.Problem solving mindset, ability to analyze data, resolve discrepancies, and optimize financial processes.Detailed-oriented and organized, able to juggle multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate across teams and vendors.Ready to Lead and Elevate Our Accounts Payable Operations?
