About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in commercial and retail construction to oversee and execute new retail development projects in Downtown Miami. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in commercial/retail construction and a proven ability to manage budgeting, planning, permitting, and execution of projects from start to finish. This is a highly involved, on-site role requiring leadership, financial expertise, and exceptional project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Lead and manage ground-up retail construction projects from conception to completion.
✔ Develop project budgets, schedules, and timelines, ensuring financial adherence.
✔ Oversee permitting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
✔ Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to align project goals.
✔ Conduct cost analysis and monitor expenditures to maintain budget efficiency.
✔ Supervise construction teams, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion.
✔ Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor agreements.
✔ Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues.
✔ Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
🔹 5 years of experience in commercial and/or retail construction project management.
🔹 Expertise in budgeting, cost control, and financial oversight for large-scale projects.
🔹 Experience with permits, zoning, and regulatory compliance in Miami.
🔹 Ability to lead, manage, and coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders.
🔹 Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project).
🔹 Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
