Job Description
This role involves processing customer transactions, resolving inquiries, and maintaining an exceptional standard of customer service.
The ideal candidate will excel in communication, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have knowledge of retail banking, online banking, and financial products.
As a key member of the customer service team, you will interact with customers to address inquiries efficiently, cross-sell financial services, and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service to address customer inquiries and transactions.
- Maintain high call productivity and quality scores that exceed established standards.
- Utilize knowledge of retail, online banking, mortgage, and business products to resolve issues and provide tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills to enhance the customer experience.
- Handle inquiries in adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance with federal and state laws, including anti-money laundering regulations (e.
g., Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act).
- Cross-sell financial services and products to meet customer needs.
- Identify and report any suspicious activity to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience :
1-3 years of experience in a call center, retail banking, or residential loan processing preferred.
Skills and Abilities :
- Proficiency with computer systems and applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and email correspondence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve customer inquiries effectively.
- Bilingual (preferred but not required).
