A highly regarded labor and employment law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 2-6 years of experience to join its fast-paced and collaborative team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work on complex employment litigation matters spanning both Tennessee and California, providing a dynamic and diverse caseload.
What You’ll Do:
- Play a key role in handling employment litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Draft responsive pleadings, manage discovery, take depositions, and argue motions
- Represent clients in mediations and work towards favorable settlements
- Collaborate directly with clients on compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Gain hands-on experience in California wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases
What We’re Looking For:
- Admission to the California Bar is required
- Available to relocate to Nashville, TN
- Prior experience handling California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases
- Strong analytical and legal writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A team player with a commitment to excellence, responsiveness, and client service
