Job Title: Logistics Manager
Location: Miami, FL (Onsite in the Roads area)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Logistics Manager to lead and optimize comprehensive logistics operations, including warehousing, ground transportation, maritime shipping, and customs compliance. This is a critical leadership role where you will drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and ensure on-time delivery with cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage all logistics operations, including warehousing, ground transportation, maritime shipping, and customs compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) regulations and oversee private label distribution development.
- Develop and maintain distribution channels for bagged and bulk products.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), such as transportation and warehousing costs, inventory levels, service rates, and waste reduction.
- Negotiate transportation, warehousing, and shipping rates on a monthly basis.
- Lead demand planning, inventory management, and forecast reviews with manufacturing facilities and end customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with 3PL providers, customs brokers, and international shipping partners.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and manufacturing teams to optimize supply chain operations.
- Supervise and develop team members, initially managing one direct report.
- Respond promptly and diplomatically to inquiries and complaints from customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Manage logistics projects, including implementing new systems and processes to support future growth.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience:
- 5 years of logistics management experience, preferably in the frozen food industry.
- Proven expertise in international logistics and customs procedures.
- Knowledge of FSVP regulations preferred.
- Experience with cold chain logistics is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
- Experience with maritime and land transportation.
- Familiarity with global sourcing is a plus.
Work Location & Schedule:
- Based in Miami, FL.
- In-office presence required 3-4 days per week.
- Regular travel within the U.S. (e.g., warehouse and carrier visits) and to Mexico operations.
