Senior Tax Accountant – Accounting & Tax

About the Role
We are seeking a Client Manager to join our growing CPA firm. This position plays a crucial role in managing client relationships, overseeing accounting and tax services, and leading a team of professionals. This role offers a structured training program with a clear career path, including a partnership track after 3-5 years based on performance and client portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Tax Management
Oversee client accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, and tax-related services.Review financial statements, P&L statements, and tax compliance reports.Ensure accurate preparation of 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S tax returns.Client Relations & Communication
Manage 75-125 client accounts, serving as their primary point of contact.Provide timely and professional responses to client inquiries.Ensure seamless client transitions while maintaining strong relationships.Leadership & Team Supervision
Delegate work among bookkeepers and accounting staff.Provide training and support to enhance team performance.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.What We’re Looking For
2 years of experience managing accounting teams and client accounts.Strong accounting fundamentals (debits & credits)—tax experience is preferred but can be trained.CPA firm experience is required (private industry backgrounds will not be considered).Degree in Accounting required (or equivalent hands-on experience).Excellent verbal and written communication skills—client interaction is a key part of the role.Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines while ensuring accuracy.What to Expect in This Role
Onsite role – No remote work available.250 hours of overtime required during tax season (January – April).Overtime beyond 250 hours is compensated at regular hourly pay (not time and a half).Comprehensive training program—responsibilities will be gradually introduced.Why Join Us?
