This private Live-In Caregiver (Personal Attendant) opportunity allows you to work just three days per week while earning a competitive income. You set your wages and select the private family you wish to support, providing one-on-one personal care and companionship that enables elderly clients to remain safe and comfortable in their homes. This role offers a stable work environment where caregivers can build meaningful relationships while working directly with families.

Position Overview

As a private Live-In Caregiver (Personal Attendant), you will reside in the client’s home for three consecutive days, offering personalized care and companionship. A private sleeping area will be provided while on duty, and caregivers must have their own sleeping arrangements during their off days.

This role requires :

  • A CNA license (or higher)
  • A Home Care Aide (HCA) registration number in California (easy to obtain)
  • At least one year of hands-on caregiving or CNA experience
  • Reliable transportation, as caregivers may assist clients with appointments or outings
  • California residency, as this role is only open to local candidates

    • Key Responsibilities

    Caregivers provide personal care and companionship, supporting elderly clients in remaining safe and comfortable at home. Responsibilities include :

  • Personal Care : Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other daily activities.
  • Mobility Support : Help with transfers, repositioning, and movement.
  • Nutritional Support : Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
  • Light Housekeeping : Perform laundry and light housekeeping related to client care.
  • Companionship : Offer emotional support and engaging conversation.
  • Transportation Assistance : Accompany the client to appointments and outings as needed.

  • Earning Potential : Earn overtime at 1.5x for hours exceeding 9 per day or 45 per week, allowing you to earn up to $125,000 per year.
  • Stable Schedule : A structured 3-day live-in shift with 4 consecutive days off.
