At CareFirst, we know how rewarding it can be to work with one patient and see the difference you are making! We are looking for a motivated LPN or RN to provide one-on-one, in-the-home care for an adult client in Birmingham. Overnight shifts.
```Duties:```
- Provide direct care, including administering medications, performing physical examinations, and providing skilled nursing in the client's home.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Follow most current Care Plan and communicate with Nurse Manager to maintain Care Plan.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
```Qualifications:```
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama.
- Proven experience in providing patient care in various settings.
- Knowledgeable in critical care practices and able to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Experience in tracheostomy care, home ventilator monitoring/response to alarms, and feeding tube care is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with client, their family, office staff, and management.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
