CareFirst is looking for a motivated LPN or RN to provide in-the-home care for a young adult, Technology Assisted client. This is a part-time position on Monday's and Tuesday's from 9AM-5PM.
```Duties:```
- Provide direct care, including administering medications, performing physical examinations, and providing skilled nursing (to include tracheostomy care, g-tube care, tube feedings, and wound care) in the client's home.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Follow most current Care Plan and communicate with Nurse Manager to maintain Care Plan.
- Educate client and their family on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
```Qualifications:```
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama.
- Proven experience in providing patient care in various settings.
- Knowledgeable in critical care practices and able to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Experience in tracheostomy care, home ventilator management, and feeding tube care is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with client, their family, office staff, and management.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical capability to provide transfers and repositioning.
