Caregility is seeking a Full-Time Backend Software Engineer- Cloud Solutions. We prefer the candidate to be on the East Coast so they may be hybrid traveling to our Wall Township office as needed. This is a salaried (Exempt) Position. The role reports to Manager, Cloud Platform Engineer. The candidate must be a US Citizen or Authorized to work in the US.
Job Overview :
As a Backend Software Engineer- Cloud Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing Caregility's cloud-based services, focusing system performance, and backend infrastructure. You are expected to be hands-on engineer, drive software development, and build scalable, reliable backend solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, impactful software solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strong experience writing high quality code
- Continuously optimize queries, reports, and dashboards for performance and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience for large datasets.
- Continuously optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability, handling large datasets efficiently.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Java and Spring Boot to transform and migrate data from source systems
- Apply data analytics best practices to contribute to the design and development of data models and reporting solutions that enhance business intelligence.
- Troubleshoot backend issues, ensure timely resolution, and provide recommendations for long-term solutions.
- Contribute to building a strong engineering culture, with focus on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
