Caregility is seeking a Backend Software Engineer. This position is a Full-Time Exempt role. This position will be based on the East Coast. It is a hybrid role in our Wall Township, NJ office. As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing Caregility's cloud-based services, focusing system performance, and backend infrastructure. You are expected to be hands-on engineer, drive software development, and build scalable, reliable backend solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, impactful software solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Strong experience writing high quality code
- Continuously optimize queries, reports, and dashboards for performance and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience for large datasets.
- Continuously optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability, handling large datasets efficiently.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Java and Spring Boot to transform and migrate data from source systems.
- Apply data analytics best practices to contribute to the design and development of data models and reporting solutions that enhance business intelligence.
- Troubleshoot backend issues, ensure timely resolution, and provide recommendations for long-term solutions.
- Contribute to building a strong engineering culture, with focus on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.

In addition, you may be assigned other tasks and responsibilities from time to time, as determined by the needs of the company. These duties will be aligned with your position and may evolve as the business requires.
