Babysitter/Nanny

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and a passion for educating and engaging young minds. This role involves not only supervising children but also facilitating their development through play, learning activities, and daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide age-appropriate care, including infant care for younger children.
• Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring they are nutritious and cater to dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime.
• Assist with homework and provide support for school-related tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Adapt activities to accommodate children with disabilities or special needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or childcare settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and caregiving practices.
• Ability to educate through play and structured activities.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and possess a strong sense of responsibility.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory.
