30 Hrs/Wk Guaranteed – Personal Care Aide (PCA) Job

CareGivers is looking for an outstanding, career-minded Personal Care Aide, HHA, or CNA to join our team. In this position, you would be exclusively working Broome County OFA casework. You would be guaranteed 30 hours a week, and have a set schedule of Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm.

A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required for this position – this is not optional. You will be visiting multiple clients in your territory – 2 to 3 hours per client – and you may need to run errands or do shopping for some clients. You will be paid for travel time between clients which is included in your 30 hours/week. You will also be paid mileage in between clients, and mileage for any errands or shopping you do for clients.

Enhanced rates offered for this position, $19.80 per hour.

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for providing personal care and supportive services which may include (but are not limited to) assisting the client in activities of daily living, providing light housekeeping services to maintain a clean and safe environment for the client, and making sure they follow their medication schedule.

• Must be a certified PCA*, HHA, or CNA
• Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
• Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHAs – ask us how!
• Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
• Will be subject to a background check as part of the hiring process
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license* required – you must be able to drive from client to client, this is not optional. (*clean – no major violations)
