JOB OVERVIEW :

Attention Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)! If you have had at least 3 months of previous hands on caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class.

Job Opening : Home Care Aide PCA

  • HHA, or CNA (must be certified)Branch : Elmira, NY (https : / / caregivershomecare.com / locations / home-care-in-elmira-ny) Job Location(s) : Elmira NY, Horseheads NY, and surrounding areasHourly Rates : $17.55 / hourAvailable Shifts : Day shifts various start time and shift lengths, weekdays or weekends

    • Must have reliable vehicle & valid drivers license running errands, shopping, and transporting clients is part of the job (mileage paid).

    DUTIES : Your day might include : providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals; tidying their home to keep them healthy and being sure they follow their medication schedule.   • Must be certified PCA, HHA or CNA (expired HHA or PCA ok)
  • Will transition current CNA to HHA with a free one-day class!
  • Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHAs ask us how!

  • Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Reliable vehicle and valid drivers license required
