We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations by managing appointment schedules and coordinating client care. This position requires strong administrative skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Duties:
- Schedule and confirm client appointments using scheduling software
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate scheduling of client appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical scheduling information
- Communicate with clients to provide appointment reminders and answer any scheduling-related questions
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to optimize appointment scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow
- Assist with answering phone calls, and managing client inquiries
- Take On-call when scheduled
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical scheduling role is preferred
- Proficiency in using Matrix or similar scheduling software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and schedules
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment
