Openings for Afternoon/evening caregiver/Direct Care Workers in Sharpsville, PA. Position is providing supervision and care for an elderly client with Alzheimer's in the evenings from on Friday and Saturday from 5-8pm. Client is physically independent with assistance, has sundowners, Alzheimer's and requires prompting and supervision to complete tasks. Option is also available to pick up open evening or overnight shifts with this client and addtional hours with other clients during day turn hours.
*Must have DRIVER'S LICENSE and THEIR OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Possesses maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Criminal background clearance, TB and drug screening.
- RELIABLE and RESPONSIBLE with a willingness to work.
- Positive and upbeat attitude
Responsibilities:
Caregivers/Direct Care Workers provide personal care as directed including but not limited to:
- Grooming, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders.
- Light housekeeping, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing and laundry.
- Ability to lift using safe management techniques
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
