- Greet all visitors and directs them to the appropriate person.
- Answer all incoming calls in a pleasant and proper manner and directs them to the appropriate person or department.
- Keeps reception and conference area appearance neat and tidy at all times.
- Takes messages as requested and delivers to the proper person in a timely manner.
- Assists in evaluating agency operations and systems and identifies ways to enhance workflow and productivity.
- Notifies supervisor of any problems requiring administrative attention and intervention.
- Assist with a variety of duties including daily clean-up, equipment cleaning and tracking.
- Mail information to clients, referral sources, and community organizations.
- Maintain conference room meeting calendars on a daily basis.
- Sets and maintains Outlook calendars.
- Prepares multiple copy packs for meetings or as requested by staff.
- Maintains and regulates mandatory medical refrigeration.
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of medical terminology required
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate computer equipment, Excel, Outlook, Word, multiple phone lines, fax, and photocopy machines necessary.
- Associate degree
- 1 year experience working in a health care setting
- Medicare and Medicaid guideline knowledge preferred
