CareLink is looking for Caregivers, PCAs, and/or CNAs to become part of our team. If you are compassionate, caring, dependable, have a passion for helping others, this is the job for you!
- One year experience in direct patient care with a home care agency, home health agency nursing home, hospital OR have a current CNA certification, or complete a 40 hour PCA training course with certification
- Must have valid Arkansas driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record and Proof of auto liability insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment and on-going random substance screening in accordance with Arkansas Act 1336 of 2013
- Must pass criminal record checks performed in compliance with Arkansas Act 990 of 1997
- Knowledge of personal care techniques, such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfer
- Ability to provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Ability to encourage clients to engage in recreational activities and assist in maintaining social connections
- Ability to prepare meals and help maintain a clean and safe environment
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Assists client with personal grooming:
- Bathing/Showering
- Dressing
- Shampooing and Drying/Styling Hair
- Shaving
- Toileting
- Skin Care
- Toothbrushing/Denture Care
- Transfers client from bed to chair/wheelchair or from chair to bed
- Conducts passive range of motion exercises and assists to exercise joints with active range of motion exercises
- Operates assistive devices and equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, lifts, mechanical beds, and assists in the use of these devices
- Changes and launders bed linens
- Assists with meal preparation and feeding
- Performs general housekeeping duties, e.g., sweeping, vacuuming, washing dishes, taking out trash, etc.
- Straightens and maintains orderliness of client's immediate environment
- Shops, runs errands as needed
- Observes and documents client's status on each visit
- Documents care given and any problems noted
- Accurately records time via the Telephony time keeping system or completes manual billing forms and turns in within required time frames
Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour
Training provided by CareLink at no cost to you.
**Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
