Social Worker

CAREmasters healthcare services LLC is a provider of temporary healthcare services in Southwest Florida. Our caregivers and nurses render services to hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing and hospices to complement facility staff in times of census fluctuations or staff shortages.

CAREmasters is looking for a flexible, passionate and caring Social Services Worker interested in an immediate interim assignments in skilled nursing facilities in CAPE CORAL, FL. Responsibilities include identifying and providing for residents social, emotional, and psychological needs, continuing development of the resident´s full potential during the stay at the community, including assistance in planning for discharge. Other essential job functions include supporting the social services department personnel, participating in the pre-admission screening, providing information to families during admission, and orienting residents to the LTC environment.

Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor or Master degree in Social Work or in a related subject to meet Florida State law for the position
• Clearance on all administrative requirements
• Must have a minimum of 3 or more years of experience in long-term care settings, preferably in skilled nursing facilities
• Immediate availability
• Benefits:
• Contract employment, 4 weeks with option to extend
• Above industry standard compensation of $35.00 per hour
• Direct Deposit
• Weekly payroll
