Family Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for delivering primary medical care. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for patients, recording patients' medical histories, performing physical exams, administering diagnostic tests, and creating patient care plans. The Nurse Practitioner will also administer treatment and observe patients' functioning over time.

· Licensing: Registered Nurse with current unrestricted license in California, current and kept current throughout employment

· Current Nurse Practitioner License (California State issued) current and kept current throughout employment

· Current Nurse Practitioner Furnishing License (California State issued) current and kept current throughout employment

· Must have AANP Certification

· Current DEA – Current and kept current throughout employment

· American Heart Association BLS, kept current throughout employment

· American Heart Association ACLS, kept current throughout employment

· American Heart Association PALS (if required for position), kept current throughout employment

· Proof of valid driver’s license (if needed to commute between offices)

· Able to provide proof of valid auto liability insurance if responsibilities include driving own vehicle.

· Training and experience: Unless otherwise indicated, one year of current experience within the last three years in a comparable job classification required.

· Educated on and compliant with HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information.

· Complies with Infection Control, Standard Precautions and OSHA standards for the healthcare professional.

· Able to wear personal protective equipment (e.g., face mask, goggles, latex/non-latex gloves) as needed.

· Ability to work effectively within role independently and with other team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, Locum tenens

Pay: $135,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
