CareMed Health Solutions is a facility-based team of medical and mental health providers who provide medical or mental health services to patients living in long term care facilities. We strive to give quality care to residents while working together with the facility to carry out the best care possible. While working with an interdisciplinary care team to provide medical care to patients in long term care facilities, you will have the opportunity to impact in a positive way the life and wellbeing of the elderly population.
We are currently seeking Mental Health Porfessionals to provide individual psychotherapy, assessments, group therapy and family therapy to residents residing in long term care facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Current, unrestricted license in California
- Willingness to travel to assigned Skilled Nursing Facilities within your local area
- Experience using Electronic Health Records
- Experience working in a long-term care setting
- Effective communication skills that will help you to interact with facility staff, patients and families
- Ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
- Basic coding knowledge preferred, not required.
