Caremed Inc. is looking for a motivated and energetic Patient Care/Scheduling Coordinator to join our team! As a Patient Care/Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing patient/employee scheduling for an optimal client experience; while maintaining office efficiency, exceptional customer service and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- in/outbound calls from clients/employees
- patient scheduling and logistics
- executing daily workflows including cancellations, missed visits, and reassignments
- executing visit verification
- serves as a liaison between clients, employees, RN Supervisor, and all other team members
- works independently to ensure that all services are coordinated timely, efficient and accurate manner
- effectively addressing client/employee or care teams members concerns swiftly

- must possess excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem resolution skills

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least, 1 year experience in healthcare setting, handling multiple phone inquires
- Knowledge of third party-reimbursements, patient authorizations and plan of care
- Experience with software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Experience with electronic visit verification software, preferred
- Experience with Medicaid Guidelines, preferred
