Summary

As a Personal Care Assistant at CAREMED, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to clients in their homes. This position is crucial for ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of those we serve in a home environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Help with medication reminders and adherence as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Basic understanding of emergency procedures and first aid is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in personal care assistance is an advantage.

Pay: Up to $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 45 per week
