Key Responsibilities :
- Operate specialized mammography equipment to perform high-quality screenings and diagnostic mammograms in line with physician orders.
- Prepare and guide patients through procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring their comfort and safety .
- Evaluate mammography images for technical quality (density, contrast, definition, and distortion) and make adjustments as needed to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to regulatory and compliance standards .
- Clean, maintain, and perform routine adjustments on mammography equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety .
- Assist radiologists with special procedures, including biopsies, localization, and additional diagnostic studies.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control, health, and radiation safety protocols .
