About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic X-Ray Tech - Medical Assistant to join our team at CareNow, a leading urgent care provider. As a champion of patient care, you will provide expertise and support to our providers and nursing staff.
- Perform various clinical duties in support of providers and Nursing staff, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs.
- Check patients in and out of the computer and assist with front desk duties, such as greeting patients and checking them in/out.
- Assist with End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks, and records release.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- High School graduate as required by the state.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is preferred.
- Limited Medical Radiology Technologist (LMRT) license in state of residency.
- 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
