Great new career opportunity in long-term care pharmacy. We are now hiring a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician for Partners Pharmacy NJ.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Printing and sorting labels for filling prescriptions.
- Reviewing and inputting new, refill, infusion, house stock, and emergency pharmacy orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Entering returns/credits into the pharmacy system when applicable.
- Triaging and prioritizing received orders.
- Maintaining confidentiality, security, and integrity of protected health information.
- Developing proficiency in the utilization of all pharmacy systems.
- Assisting with training of new pharmacy team members.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy.
- PTCB license is a plus.
- Experience with Framework Software is required.
- Strong knowledge of brand name to generic medication.
- Familiarity with SIG codes.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a long-term care or retail pharmacy environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
