What Youll Do:
- Greet and acknowledge patients warmly, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
- Conduct patient intake, registration, and triage, identifying medical emergencies in person or via phone.
- Provide clear instructions and answer patient questions to ensure a smooth check-in process.
- Operate office equipment and software to handle faxing, scanning, and distributing medical records and reports.
- Collaborate with other departments, assisting with administrative and clinical tasks like data entry, obtaining authorizations, and processing patient paperwork.
- Accurately document and maintain information in electronic or written formats.
- Support day-to-day office operations, including filing, mailing, and managing correspondence.
- Perform additional front-office duties, including phone management, registration, multitasking, maintain professionalism at all times, administrative tasks, as needed.
What Youll Bring:
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in administrative and operational tasks, including computer systems, records management, and transcription.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, showcasing integrity, teamwork, and a commitment to building strong relationships with patients, clients, physicians, and colleagues.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Clinical experience or a Medical Assistant certification is highly preferred.
