Key Responsibilities
- Upon admission and each scheduled shift, assess patient condition, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status to ensure timely intervention.
- Perform ordered procedures, monitoring, or other functions, maintaining thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
- Provide exceptional patient care by responding promptly to requests, anticipating needs, and resolving them effectively.
- Deliver education to patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required; candidates must enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 5 years of hire date into an RN position.
- Grandfathering is accepted between departments and Mission Health entities.
- Maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON).
- Hold a Certificate: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
- At least one year of acute or post-acute nursing experience is required.
