Job Details:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Trainer to work with the project manager in leading the transition process for our pharmacy intake operations department as we migrate to a new computer system. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth and efficient transition by educating employees on the functionalities and workflows of the new system, minimizing disruptions, and maximizing user proficiency. The Trainer will develop tailored training materials, deliver engaging sessions, and provide ongoing support to team members throughout the transition period.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the new system’s features and identify key training needs.
- Create user guides, tutorials, and other documentation for reference during and after the transition.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and materials tailored to diverse user roles and skill levels.
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for employees adapting to the new system.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions, adjusting content as needed for better outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between IT teams, project managers, and end users to address concerns and gather feedback.
- Stay informed on system updates and ensure all training reflects the latest features and functionalities.
- Completion of all projects as deemed appropriate and assigned by Manager.
- Strict adherence to all Policies & Procedures ensures that staff involved in their respective processes comply with stated guidelines and maintaining current working knowledge of all areas.
- Provide continuous training and education, encompassing process updates, newly implemented procedures, and onboarding for new team members.
- Perform other duties as directed
Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience in training or facilitation, particularly in IT systems, pharmacy/intake operations or technology implementations.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with system migration processes and change management principles is a plus.
- Proficiency in creating training materials using tools such as PowerPoint, e-learning software, or video tutorials.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Requirements
- High School diploma, required
- 1-2 years training experience, preferred.
- 1-2 years Pharmacy intake operations experience, preferred.
- Microsoft office products experience. required.
- Specialty Pharmacy System experience preferred
- Medical Terminology, preferred.
