We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Business Development to join our team and drive our growth through partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.

Job Summary : The Vice President of Business Development will lead and execute Carepoint's business development strategy with pharmaceutical manufacturers. This individual will engage with senior-level decision-makers, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth through new business acquisitions. The role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Partnerships : Identify, engage, and establish partnerships with pharmaceutical companies to expand Carepoint's service offerings and market presence.
  • Business Development : Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure, focusing on acquiring new business and strategic partnerships.
  • Market Expansion : Develop and execute strategies to enter new markets and expand Carepoint's footprint within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical manufacturers, healthcare providers, and other industry partners.
  • Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Product, Operations, and Marketing, to ensure seamless integration and successful execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape, which will inform strategic decisions and business development efforts.
  • Revenue Growth : Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and contribute to Carepoint's overall growth.
  • Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries.
  • Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and key players.
  • Track Record : Proven success in developing and closing large, complex deals and partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.
  • Communication : Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Analytical : Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights.
  • Leadership : Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset : A self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving complex business problems.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
