Carepool is transportation enabled by software we built to service aging adults and people with disabilities. Our marketplace of drivers are making transportation accessible for everyone!
Use your own vehicle, be your own boss and set your own hours! Know how much you'll make per project ahead of time, we're transparent per mile and per project.
You'll help others go to work, medical appointments or just go out in the community.
It's similar to other rideshare models, but we provide more assistance and care to the service. (we call it Rideshare ) End every day knowing you made a difference while helping others!
Requirements: Excellent personality with the ability to read people and solve problems. 100% clean driving record (minus a minor ticket or two, every 2-5 years) is required. Safe and Secure transport is our middle name, so you need to be able to make it yours!
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers safely to their destinations, ensuring comfort and care throughout the journey.
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles as needed, providing support for those with disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with passengers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage scheduling of rides through the CarePool platform, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure reliability of service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with passengers.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to assist passengers with mobility challenges is essential.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is beneficial.
- Ability to lift heavy items if necessary during transport.
