Carepool is transportation enabled by software we built to service aging adults and people with disabilities. Our marketplace of drivers are making transportation accessible for everyone!
Use your own vehicle, be your own boss and set your own hours! Know how much you'll make per project ahead of time, we're transparent per mile and per project.
You'll help others go to work, medical appointments or just go out in the community.
It's similar to other rideshare models, but we provide more assistance and care to the service. (we call it Rideshare ) End every day knowing you made a difference while helping others!
Requirements: Excellent personality with the ability to read people and solve problems. 100% clean driving record (minus a minor ticket or two, every 2-5 years) is required. Safe and Secure transport is our middle name, so you need to be able to make it yours!
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers safely to their destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, conducting regular inspections for safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding ride details and any necessary accommodations.
- Manage schedules efficiently to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Load and unload passenger belongings as needed, providing assistance with heavy items when required.
- Document ride details accurately for reporting purposes, including mileage and passenger feedback.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to create positive interactions with passengers.
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission if required.
- Familiarity with local routes in suburban and urban areas is advantageous.
- Physical capability to assist passengers with heavy lifting or moving items when necessary.
