Position Summary
The Marketing Director role is about reimagining whats possibletransforming CarePortals marketing engine from steady and dependable into high-powered and unstoppable. You will own a bold, innovative marketing strategy that expands our reach, strengthens our brand positioning, and accelerates platform adoption across all stakeholders (churches, agencies, donors, and partners). Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will drive measurable growth, oversee a high-performing marketing team, and pioneer cutting-edge marketing techniques, including AI-driven personalization, digital automation, and category leadership in Care-Sharing.

Your Responsibilities Include:
Strategic Leadership & Growth Acceleration
Architect and implement a visionary marketing strategy that positions CarePortal as the category leader in Care-Sharing.
Align marketing efforts that drive exponential growth in platform adoption, donor engagement and revenue development.
Partner with executive leadership to refine CarePortals brand voice, messaging, and thought leadership in the market.
Brand Positioning & Thought Leadership
Elevate CarePortals national visibility, making it the recognized leader in community-driven child welfare solutions.
Lead high-impact storytelling that inspires and mobilizes churches, donors, and partners.
Develop content strategies, PR, and executive visibility plans to establish CarePortal as an industry pioneer.
Data-Driven Digital & Performance Marketing
Overhaul CarePortals digital ecosystem to maximize organic reach, SEO dominance, and content virality.
Oversee multi-channel growth campaigns, including email, social, paid media, influencer outreach, and community engagement.
Build a data-driven culture, leveraging analytics to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
Revenue, Fundraising & Partner Growth
Align marketing with fundraising and business development goals to drive financial sustainability.
Collaborate with the Development Department to design campaigns that increase donor engagement.
Collaborate with partnerships teams to enhance marketing support for key relationships.
Team Development & Culture Building
Recruit, mentor, and empower a high-performing marketing team focused on creativity, innovation and delivers excellence in brand, digital, content, and analytics.
Ensure marketing operations are scalable, efficient, and aligned with CarePortals long-term vision.
Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external marketing vendors, including PR firms, agencies, and consultants
What You Bring to the Organization:
Experience & Skills
7 years of marketing leadership experience, with a track record of scaling brands, driving revenue, and building high-performance teams.
Proven success in category creation, thought leadership, or disruptive marketing preferred.
Experience leading data-driven digital marketing, including SEO, automation, CRM, paid media, and analytics.
Storytelling expertiseable to craft compelling narratives that drive action.
Strong knowledge of faith-based marketing and **church engagement strategies preferred.
Passionate about CarePortals mission and committed to our core values: Courage, Humility, and Excellence.
Technical Proficiency
Extensive exposure in Google Suite, CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), Campaign Monitor, WordPress, and social media management.
Familiarity leveraging AI-driven marketing, automation, and data-driven personalization strategies.
Measuring Success (Sample 24-Month KPIs):
40% increase in monthly engaged users.
