Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing to promote their well-being.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Document patient care activities accurately in medical records, adhering to medical terminology standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Monitor client health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a nursing home or home health setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of CPR techniques and basic first aid is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to patient care and senior care is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to assist others in need of care.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting or moving clients safely.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
