Care Pros at Home is hiring a part-time caregiver for our White Lake client, openings are 4-hour morning shifts! Flexible 9 am-1 pm or 10 am-2 pm.
Overview
We seek compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while maintaining respect for the dignity and privacy of those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and document changes in clients’ health status and report any concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement.
- Support clients in assisted living settings or hospice care as needed.
- Perform patient observation to identify any changes in condition or behavior.
- Provide direct support in various settings, including long-term care facilities and private homes.
Skills
- Experience in long-term care or senior care preferred.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Certification in CPR is desirable.
- Strong observational skills to monitor client health effectively.
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families.
- Experience providing direct support in assisted living or hospice environments is a plus.
