Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's mental well-being.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
- Administer medications as prescribed while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary to ensure client safety.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' conditions or behaviors, reporting any concerns to nursing staff or family members.
- Uphold resident rights and dignity while fostering a respectful environment.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care, home health, or working within a group home setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of care plans, medication administration procedures, and HIPAA compliance is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
