Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any adverse reactions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting clients safely when necessary.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by adhering to established care plans and protocols.
- Support clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
- Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy, confidentiality, and individual preferences.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or caregiving is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medication administration practices is essential.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is highly desirable.
