Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. Duties
- Provide direct support and personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Monitor patients' health status through regular observation and documentation of changes in condition.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
- Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being and social interaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Respond promptly to client needs and emergencies, utilizing first aid techniques when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong patient monitoring skills with the ability to recognize changes in health status.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is advantageous but can be obtained after hiring.
