Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves working closely with individuals who may have varying needs, including those requiring dementia care, long-term care, or assistance with daily living activities.

Duties

• Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Support clients with disabilities by providing tailored assistance based on individual needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with dementia care techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience in assisted living or group home settings is a plus.
• Knowledge of CPR and first aid practices is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift
• Overnight shift
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
