Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties
As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitoring patient health and reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Providing direct support for individuals with dementia or memory care needs, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
- Developing and following personalized care plans tailored to each client's specific requirements.
- Upholding resident rights by promoting independence and respecting individual preferences.
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Administering first aid and CPR when necessary, maintaining a safe environment at all times.
- Assisting with household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or training in caregiving or related fields. Preferred qualifications include:
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring practices.
- Experience in direct support roles, particularly with individuals requiring dementia care or memory care services.
- Understanding of home community care principles and resident rights advocacy.
- Ability to create and implement effective care plans that cater to individual needs.
