We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of clients by maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
- Support clients with mobility challenges, including transferring them safely from bed to wheelchair or other locations.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Uphold confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and respecting client privacy.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in senior care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to advocating for clients’ needs.
- Familiarity with social work principles is a plus, as well as experience in assisted living or nursing home environments.
- Ability to cook healthy meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy are essential for building rapport with clients.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following care plans established by healthcare professionals.
